We’ve been in this bag business for a while now, so we believe we can categorically state what are the best delivery bags, depending in which use. Some might say we’re being biased, and we’re going to agree in the instances where our bags come out on top!
However, we promise to try and be impartial and obviously, on the bags we don’t supply, it’ll be 100% clear that we’re not telling fibs.

Best Delivery Bag for Indian Food
Surprise, surprise, it’s the one and only KiwiBag that’s available exclusively from us. There’s absolutely nothing to do with the kiwi fruit, but it was originally designed in a green kiwi colour, hence the name. We decided not to change it as we liked it so much.
As for why it wins this category? It holds a brown paper bag, or a plastic bag and the narrowing at the top completely envelopes the contents of the bag.
The sipper at the top is an interesting design in that it doesn’t completely surround the bag and extends out a little longer than seems necessary. Additionally, there’s a bit of a gap between the top of the bag and the zipper.
Why, you may ask? Well, Indian food is made with a fair amount of oil and lots of water i.e. most of the order will consists of curries. This means the bag will sweat. If it sweats, it does two things:
- Forms condensation and everything gets soggy after being transported for 40 minutes+
- Cools down the contents of the takeaway which is a big no-no.
So for that reason, we do need some ventilation to let the moist air escape. We’ve had some returns from customers who just don’t get this, but alas, what are we to do? The ones that understand the principle keep coming back for more bags!
Best Delivery Bag for Chinese Food
This might surprise you, but the kiwibag doesn’t win this round. It comes in very near the top, but with Chinese food, there’s less sauce and more oils. You need something that is tighter and less ventilated.
